Bi-Polar Perception

Bi-Polar Perception

Bi-Polar perception consisting of wavered genius.

Momentary concept of senses tethered to impossible contentment.

Synaptically incomplete images mirrored in unfamiliar textures.

Heightened focus intercepted by muffled sound's whine and climax.

Path of wavering and stereo neurals.

Altitude and buried.

Alto and bass.

Hold and release.

Breath and exhale.

Of sanity with inclusion of metal calm reality...

Bi-polar Perception

I'm not really bi-polar but can shift my senabilties from interaction with other different personalities and I'm hyper aware of that to the point that it can be seen as hypocritical...but you must realize that in order to keep the peace I superficially tweak protocal and not personal ideaoligy.

Impossible contentment and metal calm reality. Sounds like some of the stuff of my novel you are reading. I was diagnosed as having bi-polar disorder as a teen, but had lied about my drug use, and back then they weren't as scientific with drug screens as they are today. Can you believe they didn't even give me a urine screen when I was arrested in a drug house in my teens. Maybe they didn't exist. At any rate, I wouldn't use my meds, the one's the doctor gave me, and never had a bi-polar relapse so I think it was the drugs, not bi-polar disorder. Certainly by now I would have had another case of mania. LOL. (:v

A million page book could be written on drug-interaction and mental illness and would not be comprehensive enough... the drug screens were too expensive back then from what I was told at the time, only in the big cities were they used.

I'm wondering if those are the twin towers in the background, combined with the bipolar metaphor is genius! I get the car references and have a hard time understanding the emotional thoughts...but I guess that is the point!

I,ve never had the diagnosis but I have an oddly romanticised attraction to the opposing and warring emotions...

Extreme emotion I've dealt with maturing and logic and taking time during the evening to feel the emotions and then letting them strip away,I have to do this every day...

This is the third hub that I've read today with a thread of bipolar disorder. Interesting. Is it abnormal? Yes. But then, so is anything outside of a B average. I really enjoy your take on things :)

Facing extreme emotions and and letting them kill your fear of them then being able to slowly let them strip away can help with people who don't have a hyper-manic form bi-polar or depression, which most people who take medication do not have...these people have more of a fear of the emotions than the emotions themselves:)

I never thought bipolar could be explained so artistically and made sound so “beautiful”

I have been diagnose with bipolar (the mildest form, but still). Before starting medication I was going through periods of high energy and creativity for about 3-4 months, followed by times of painful depression. Trust me, it was not fun.

People are almost embarrassed to admit to any mental problem and do not ask for help and just keep on hoping to cure themselves with positive thinking – which may help, but will not really address the problem of chemical imbalance.

I've never been diagnosed with Bi-Polar but am Hyper-active,I've never been depressed but had problems with disassociation in my younger years after not getting enough sleep due to related symptoms of insomnia. As I matured I let the high energy hit me dead on then it just strips away with relaxation to music or just quiet assertion and writing...Petra I look forward to reading more about Romania:)!!

I think that if people as a rule and not exception were to,without having the disorder, develope their multi-personnas,instead of refining into conformity to fit in. As more often than not we are mentally possessed by several realities, the concept of social accepptance would be enlightened;)Thanks for the delightful arrangment of compliments,Kimberly Prey;)

WOW! Bi-polar... you've defined it quite well! A friend of mine was diagnosed with it and I'm often scared that one day I will be but even though I have my highs and my very, very lows, I have found solace in writing... and of course, reading!! Again, great Hub, Mentalist acer! :)
