I Me Mine,No Reason,No Rhyme
Without reception of loan from loved.
On this holiday skipping package shoved.
Darkness sheds knowledge instead,
That shadow is for others, true dread.
Aware of need for light.
Aware of unrewarded plight.
Aware of those loosing their fight.
Mysery of lost basic human right.
Meaningless gestures to those who wonder,
Of the advantage of plunder,
Of the advantage of influence,
Influence of ignorant sense.
World regard of 3d and 4th place,
Lacking savior from inhuman race,
Masked face of saving grace,
Time's past to retrace?
Isulated self-serving view,
Disregarding distasteful news,
Stories of ill-content without examination.
Cause for reflective action.
Cause for acceleration.
Cause for thoughtful projection.
I,Me,Mine,
Wish,Want,Take,
No Rhyme...
Who Pays The Price?

Charity is one of my favorite past times; a smile on another's face is almost a guilty pleasure. :)
Self serving as aid may be, when we serve each other we are sure to gain companionship and closeness--rather than the unnatural rivalry predicated by today's zeitgeist.
A good one Mentalist Acer! An open mind knows kindness and generosity and see the other's point of view. :)
Beautiful work. Awesome photography. God Bless You and Merry Christmas.
M.A, I love these 3 lines, they sound very perfect:
"Lacking savior from inhuman race,
Masked face of saving grace,
Time's past to retrace?"
Wonderful, hub up.=)
Nicely said.
How people can decorate their homes with hundreds of sparkling lights and buy dozens of useless gifts when people are suffering from famine, here at home and abroad is difficult to understand. The picture of the little black hand in the white hand is very touching.Your poetry is poignant,i'll repeat what Micky said,"Buy a toy for a child."Thank you.
Cheers
God Bless
Your talent blows my mind dear friend [so take it back a bit so we can look really smart too ha] No doubt this was a ton of work, it clearly shows and thank you

You've said it perfectly! Merry Christmas! :D
I found the pictures quite sad, especially at this time of year in the spirit of giving and of hope. Sacrifice is sometimes necessary in life and to give to others; to make one smile and feel joy, should not be something frowned upon. It is the giving of ones heart that reaps the greatest rewards...here or abroad. To celebrate in ones own way is sometimes a way to lifts ones spirits as well. I see no harm in that. I am well aware of the less fortunate in life, and extravagance can appear vain, but I'm not one who appreciates doom and gloom at our 'once a year' time to be merry. How about you? Good hub, though Mentalist. I always am left thinking after visiting your latest. :D
What a world it would be if material gifts were not the norm but positive verbal and or written expression of one's gratitude were???? Love, Peace and Joy :) Katie
Perfectly put, MA - and the visuals are mind-blowing!
You have a beautiful heart. Happy Holidays Prof. A :) XX
Giving and getting are two sides of the coin and it is always good to examine one's values and motives. In the materialism so prevalent greed and taking seem to have priority and this leads to a less than human world. Thanks for the beautiful thoughts so beautifully expressed.
Love and peace
Tony
Yo Bro! Beautiful! Buttons up! Write on with your bad self! God bless!

If we were pulled out of our insular existence for even a moment, it would be a different world. It would no longer be 'us' and 'them' and that is what is needed in my humble and sometimes not so humble opinion.
